The Galaxy Vets Foundation is a non-profit division of Galaxy Vets, an American chain of veterinary medicine clinics founded by Dr. Ivan Zakharenkov, who was born in Kharkiv, Ukraine.<\/p>\n
In response to the atrocities and destruction caused by Russia’s invasion, the organization is focusing its efforts on helping people who care for animals and thus the animals themselves.<\/p>\n
The goal of the Animal Help Ukraine project is to collect and provide financial and humanitarian aid to those areas of Ukraine that need it most.<\/p>\n
They also provide free online veterinary consultations to pet owners.<\/p>\n
