
NGO “Ukrainian Center for Social Reforms”
The Ukrainian Center for Social Reforms (UCSR) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization. The staff consists of researchers who have been working together since 2002 and have implemented 140 research projects, including 65 with the support of international organizations. UCSR has over 15 years of experience in research and monitoring.
The Center’s activities are focused on combining the efforts of scientists and experts in the field of social policy and social protection, including reforming social security, pension, benefits and social assistance systems. The scientific recommendations of the Center, which are provided to public authorities (the Office of the President of Ukraine, the Government of Ukraine, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Social Policy, the Ministry of Family and Youth, the State Statistics Service of Ukraine), are based on comprehensive studies of the living standards of the population, labor market development, regional human development and demographic situation, as well as on the analysis of the state social policy and the search for ways to improve it. The UCSR has provided scientific support to international organizations (World Bank, EU, UN agencies – UNICEF, UNDP, UNFPA, ILO, IOM, etc.)
