International humanitarian organization CARE Ukraine
CARE Ukraine is a chapter of CARE International, an international humanitarian organization that has been working for over 75 years in more than 100 countries to help people in crisis. In Ukraine, CARE focuses on providing emergency assistance to war-affected people, working with partners such as People in Need to provide food, clean water, hygiene kits and multi-purpose cash assistance.
The main areas of work of CARE Ukraine are:
Distribution of food, water, hygiene kits, and temporary housing.
Helping people overcome the psychological trauma caused by the war.
Protecting women and children who have suffered from violence, in particular during forced displacement.
Assistance in restoring livelihoods and providing access to financial resources.
Training programs and professional development support for IDPs.
CARE Ukraine is also actively working on advocacy at the international level, raising awareness of the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine and mobilizing resources to help those affected.
