NGO Mental Health Support Center Mental Health Center and MT/NGO Mental Health Service Mykolaiv MHPSS center and MT Since 2014, the Mental Health Support Center has been pursuing the main goal of supporting and restoring the mental health of Ukrainian citizens in its project activities, and has specialists in evidence-based methods of therapy for crisis and post-traumatic conditions, unique for the region. The Center has a mobile team in Mykolaiv that conducts outreach to communities affected by hostilities or witnessing traumatic events. Psychological support services are provided:

• PSP, PPA, crisis intervention, crisis counseling.
• Trauma-focused psychological counseling.
• Grief support.
• Support for people with experience of gender-based violence.
• Support of victims of violent acts.
• Short-term family psychotherapy.
• EMDR therapy (including phantom pain protocol, PTSD, psychotherapy for survivors of captivity and torture).
• Mental Health in the Workplace program.
• Program: Prevention of professional burnout for employees of state institutions and civil infrastructure.
• Peer-to-peer groups.
• Handmade courses.
• Work format: online, offline, mobile team visit.

All events are free of charge and are carried out within the framework of the project Multi-sectoral humanitarianaid and resilience building, funded by the German Federal Foreign Office (GFFO), the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by the charitable organization Malteser International, implemented by the NGO Mental Health Service.
