Due to the war, Mykolaiv became one of the cities that provided shelter, food and protection for a large number of people (as of the beginning of 2024, about 47 thousand internally displaced persons were officially registered in Mykolaiv. Many of these people still have little knowledge of where, when and how they can get the help they need.
That is why the CO “Shchedryk”, together with the NGO “Oxfam”, initiated the creation of the first information resource in the South of Ukraine with the types of available services and types of assistance.
The HELP CENTER aims to inform Mykolaiv residents, IDPs, and conflict-affected population about the provision of protection and livelihood services; about the opportunities offered by international organizations and government institutions. This information resource is aimed at facilitating access to assistance for socially vulnerable groups.
This is a single electronic service with a list of necessary services and assistance in all areas (protection, healthcare, food security, education, financial, etc.). This will provide the population of southern Ukraine with online access to the necessary information about assistance on a convenient platform. The information on available services will be updated twice a month to meet the needs of the population in a timely manner by providing up-to-date information.
